This Dennison Die Cut wasn't in the best condition when I found it, but I couldn't pass it up.  I've never seen it before and I loved the artwork.

I previously posted these Dennison place cards.

Dennison Manufacturing began life as a box maker, specifically jewelery boxes, in 1844.  In 1911, they expanded their line to include greeting cards, gummed labels, sealing wax and crepe paper. This lead to a line of holiday supplies including their popular and now highly-collectible line of Halloween party guides known as the Bogie Books.

There was no Bogie Book published for 1918 due to the Spanish Flu pandemic.

Dennison ceased publication of the Bogie Book in the 1930's, but continued to produce Halloween decorations into the 1960's. They merged with Avery International, an office supplies company, in 1990.
